International Carrom Federation
The International Carrom Federation (ICF) is the international governing body for the game of carrom. Such an organisation was first proposed in the 1950s, but the ICF was not formed until October 1988, when delegates from India, Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Malaysia, Germany and Switzerland met in Madras, India, for the first World Carrom Congress, at which the ICF was formed and an international set of rules was adopted.

European Carrom ConfederationThe European Carrom Confederation is a body of the Carrom Federations in Europe. The main aim of the E.C.C. is to promote Carrom in Europe. The E.C.C. coordinates the activities of the Carrom Federations of the European countries.
The E.C.C. helps Carrom Federations of European countries to exchange their experiences and help each other in organizing Carrom tournaments and other promotional activities. Every year an Euro Cup tournament is organised under the ambrella of the European Carrom Confederation. The Euro Cup tournament is allotted to member units turn by turn. The teams and players taking part in Euro Cup come from Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States of America (guest). Carrom players from other European countries can also take part in Euro Cup. When was ECC established In July 1991 the International Carrom Federation decided in its 2nd Congress at Male (Maldives) to establish Continental Confederations. Arif Naqvi was authorises to contact the Carrom Federations in Europe and establish European Carrom Confederation. First consultaive meeting of some Carrom Federations of Europe took place in September 1991 in Berlin (Germany). Number of consultative meetings were held in U.K., Switzerland and Germany. The first congress of the European Carrom Confederation was held on 18th august in Unterehrendingen near Zuerich in Switzerland. A constitution of the European Carrom Confederation was adopted and following office bearers were elected.
